New Manga has finally come to the SHS Library!

XXX Holic is another masterpiece from the female artists Clamp. For all those who have read some of their previous works; XXX Holic is sure not to displease.

Summary:

Yuuko is a witch who grants people's wishes, but in return the person has to give up something of equal value. Watanuki Kimihiro, a man who has visions and can see the supernatureal; beings in the human world, encounters Yuuko and she promises to get rid of the spirits that torment him. In return Watanuki must work in Yuuko's shop and help her grant other people's wishes.

This also crosses over with one of Clamp's other works called Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles, which has a combination of characters from many of their other works.

The Anime and Manga club will be viewing the anime Ghost Hunt on December 18th, 2008 during 'A and B lunch'. All viewers must fill out a evaluation sheet after he or she finishes watching the anime, so we can get more DVDs from the Funimation animation company.
Summary of Ghost Hunt:
Telling ghost stories is a favorite past time of Mai Taniyama and her friends--that is, until she meets 17 year-old Kazuya Shibuya, the man sent by Shibuya Psychic Research Center to investigate paranormal activity at a supposedly haunted school. When Mai gets caught in a dangerous situation, she is rescued by Kazuya's assistant. Saving her lands the assistant incapacitated, and Kazuya demands that Mai become his assistant, instead...

We will be having an anime viewing of the anime series called Hell Girl. It will be held on December 17, 2008 during 'A lunch' in the library. Our club president is allowing the viewing of her DVD so please be sure to thank her for letting us use it for our club anime screening time.

Summary of Hell Girl:

Somewhere in the vast sea of the Internet, there's a website that can only be accessed at the stroke of midnight. Known as the Jigoku Tsushin, rumor has it that if you post a grudge there, the Jigoku Shoujo will appear and drag whoever torments you into the inferno. Very little is known about the girl - all we know for sure is that she lives with her equally enigmatic grandmother, that three magical straw dolls accompany and serve her, and that whenever a posting on the Jigoku Tsushin moves her, she becomes the Jigoku Shoujo.

Well as many of you may already know, most blogs or forums that you may visit have crazy and intricate backgrounds we call templates. Templates are a fun and creative way to show off your blog and just plain make them look amazing. you can visit a website and download free templates and add them to your blog. Here is a step by step instructions for you to update your blogs templates.

But be warned if you do put a new template on your blog it may delete some of your gadets like your shelfari link so just make sure you can put them back on your blogs.

1. Go to http://www.btemplates.com

2. Scroll through the available templates and pick out the one you want to use by clicking on it.

3. Click on the orange download button.

4.Click the save button and save the template file to your 'my documents' file or just and file that you can save it to.

5.When the file is done downloading hit the cancel button and go to your 'my documents' or the file you saved your template to and click on the file.

6. Go into the file and find the XML document and right click and copy the file.

7. Hit the back button once, and paste the file outside the actual template file.

8. Go to your blogs dashbord and go to your layout page and click on edit HTML

9.In the Backup/restore template section hit the browse button

10. Got to the location where you saved your template file and right click and copy the XML document file and paste it into the bar next to the browse button.

11. Before you hit upload, make sure that the section under Edit Template is completely blank before you finish, it won't work if you don't clear it all out.

12. Your done! you should have a new template now on your blog =)

All in all this is supposed to help promote people to view and follow your blogs, so get into the addiction and in this case, follow the crowd!

As most of you that visit may know I'm on the Strasburg High schools anime and manga club.
I'm mainly in charge of organizing and collection graphic novels for the librarys collection. We have the largest collection in the county and we would like to see it keep growing! So I will be posting up all new additions to the librarys manga and graphic novels here so if you would like to know whats new or is coming soon, check here first.

It would also be helpful of all of you guys and gals at SHS to tell me what you would like to see and what we need to complete all collections of manga and graphic novels in the library.
